Tar Heel student-athletes are scattered all over the globe this summer, working, studying and traveling in Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and points all over the U.S. Throughout the summer, GoHeels.com will be tracking their experiences. Check back each Tuesday for updates!

- Kelsey Barnhill (women's fencing) is in India working for UN Women India and recently visited the Taj Mahal. Follow her trip here.
- May graduate Lori Spingola is in Germany, playing professional softball for the Mannheim Tornados. Follow her experiences here.
- Danielle Jansen and Katie Rechsteiner, May graduates and former members of the women's swimming and diving team, are traveling in Europe. After Germany, Switzerland and a stop in Nice, France, they're off to Italy. Read all about their travels here.
- Alex Bales (football) and Jonathan Campbell (men's soccer) are in Costa Rica as part of a Kenan-Flagler Business School program. As their three-week program wraps up, they sum up their experience here.
- Rising junior Nancy Smith (women's fencing) is in Morocco studying Arabic and conducting undergraduate research on culinary culture. Check out her blog here.
