Crawford Takes Fourth At Navy Classic

ANNAPOLIS, Md. --- Jacob Crawford earned a fourth-place finish at 157 pounds to lead the North Carolina wrestling team at the 2014 Navy Classic Saturday afternoon at the Wesley Brown Field House. Crawford posted four wins, including a pin of Ohio's Andrew Romanchik, to pace the Tar Heels.
At 141, Cody Ross won three times, including a 15-5 major decision over Navy's Taylor French in the wrestlebacks. Joey Moon advanced to the quarterfinals of the main draw at 149, highlighted by a 13-1 major decision over Cullen Cummings of Ohio, and finished one round shy of placing.
UNC returns to action next Sunday, Nov. 30, for a dual at Appalachian State.
