Carolina's 84 points are a season high in ACC games (previous was 75 against Clemson).
Harrison Barnes scored a season-high 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting from the floor. His previous scoring high was 19 against Hofstra and 19 vs. Long Beach State. It was the first time this year that Barnes scored in double figures in both halves.
Barnes' 10 field goals are the most by a Tar Heel this year (previous was eight by several players).
Barnes' 10 for 16 shooting from the floor marks the second time this year and first time since the second game of the season that he shot better than 50 percent from the floor in a game (7 for 11 vs. Hofstra).
Barnes' 25 points are the most by a Tar Heel since Tyler Zeller scored 27 against Kentucky on Dec. 4.
John Henson had his sixth career double-double and fifth this season with 16 points and 16 rebounds and he added a career-high tyingseven blocked shots. He was one rebound off his career best. He also had seven blocks in the season opener vs. Lipscomb.
