Four Tar Heels Earn Top-Five At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -
Four Tar Heels earned top-five or better marks as the University of North Carolina participated in the second day of competition at the Penn Relays. Kwabena Keene highlighted the day with a fifth-place finish in the championship section of the men's shot put as he reached 58-1 3/4.
In the college section of the shot put, Kyle Goodman placed fifth throwing 53-8 1/2. Emory Parsons also earned a fifth-place finish for his 167-7 discus throw in the college section of that event.
Briana Hudson represented the Carolina women's squad, taking fourth overall in the eastern college section of the triple jump. He leaped a length of 40-3 1/2.
Competition concludes on Saturday with Tar Heels competing in five events.
