Carolina Improves to 10-0 With Wins Over Navy and James Madison

Chapel Hill, N.C. - 17th ranked North Carolina did not lose a set in any singles match Sunday in route to 7-0 victories over Navy and James Madison. The Tar Heels improved to 10-0 this season, which is the second consecutive year they have opened the season with 10 or more victories.

Both matches were played indoors at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. Senior Sebastian Guejman and freshman Chris Kearney remained undefeated this spring, running their singles records to 5-0 and 8-0 respectively. Junior Benjamin Carlotti, ranked 33rd in this weeks ITA singles rankings, improved to 16-6 overall with a pair of wins at the number one singles position.

Carolina will conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule beginning March 12 when they face San Diego and San Diego State during spring break. The Tar Heels have won 32 straight non-conference home matches and 26 regular-season non-conference matches.
