Women's Tennis Dominates Virginia, 7-0

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. --The University of North Carolina's women's tennis team continued its outstanding play on Saturday, defeating ACC-rival Virginia 7-0 in Charlottesville.
The eighth-ranked Tar Heels did not drop a set in six singles matches or a pro set in three doubles matches en route to downing the Cavaliers.
UNC Junior Kate Pinchbeck remained undefeated in the spring season, winning her 20th match. Pinchbeck, ranked 27th in the nation, beat UVa's Jennifer Tuchband 6-4, 6-4 in No. 2 singles.
The victory improves UNC's record to 17-3 and 5-0 in the ACC. The Tar Heels will face Maryland in College Park, Md. on Sunday at 2 p.m. Carolina has just thee regular season matches remaining before the ACC Championships (April 18-21).
