Bio
CAMERON CASTLEBERRY
Dorrance on Cameron: Last year and every year she’s been here she’s been living on this never ending ascension. She’s a girl with an amazing athletic platform. World class acceleration and speed and also confidence in beating people 1v1. As she’s gained confidence we’ve seen her game grow. And in the final game she played last year before she tore her ACL she was one of the best players on the field and it was the game we were playing Florida State. And even against the very fine Florida State team she would be considered one of the best players who was out there. She can play multiple positions. We can play her on the flank which is where she’s played most of her time at UNC. I’ve also played her centrally in the 4-2-3-1. She’s just devastating in her ability to walk past players and in her defensive presence. I believe if she continues to be ambitious about her game like some of the other kids on the roster she will sign a pro contract.
