General: Elected one of three captains for the 2004-2005 season...Fifth fastest 200-yard backstroker in Tar Heel history at 1:59.67 and 10th fastest in the 400-yard individual medley at 4:20.10...was an outstanding addition to the Tar Heel team in 2001-02...three-year letter winner...swims the backstrokes and adds great depth in the IM events...is the younger sister of former Tar Heel men's swimming All-America and ACC champion Sean Quinn (2000-03)...swam for Mecklenburg Aquatic Club in Charlotte.

2003-04: At the ACC Championships, took 12th in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.93...swam the 400-yard individual medley in 4:28.21 to place 17th.

2002-03: At the 2003 ACC Championships she placed seventh in the 400 IM with a time of 4:20.40, finished 11th in the 100 back with a time of 57.60 and placed sixth in the 200 back in 2:00.60.

2001-02: The ACC champion in the 200-yard backstroke...was also sixth in the 400 IM and 13th in the 100 back and swam on 800 FR which placed second...named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference...had career best times as a freshman in the 200 back and 400 IM. Summer 2001: At the USS Southern Sectional in Athens, Ga., she placed third in the 200 back, 11th in the 400 IM, 12th in the 100 back, 12th in the 200 free and 20th in the 200 IM...at the U.S. Summer Nationals, she placed 36th in the 200-meter back, 39th in the 100-meter back and 41st in the 400-meter IM.

Prep: Graduated from Lancaster High School on May 18, 2001...three-year swimmer there...MVP and team captain all three years...won the coaches award in her senior year...captured state championships in the 100 back and 200 IM...named South Carolina Athlete of the Year...graduated with highest honors...member of Beta Club.
