General: A two-time returning letter winner who excels in the butterfly and distance free...a medical red-shirt in 2009-10...earned membership on the French U22 National Team in 2008...competed under the banner of the French Tricolere in the Tri-Nations Cup in the summer of 2008.
Long Course Highlights: Finished sixth in the 200-meter butterfly in the 2008 French Olympic Trials...competed in the 2009 U.S. Open for his home-town club team, Schroeder YMCA...Carolina Leadership Academy Veteran Leader.
2010-11 (Junior): Won 200 fly against Duke in a career best 1:46.76...won two individual championships at the 2011 College Cup Invitational...took the 100 fly in a career best 49.21 and won the 200 fly in 1:48.19...named to 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll...tapped for Dean's List in both semesters of 2010-11 school year...named a CSCAA Men's Scholar Honorable Mention All-America.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is being surrounded by 30 of your best friends every day and supported by Carolina Athletics.
2. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is building and improving on the mental aspects of swimming and athletics.
3. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my determination and drive.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time outside with friends, reading, drawing, and listening to music.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Life and Debt.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be soccer but I have better coordination in the water.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Souleymane Faye.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is drawing.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included cream of mushroom soup, pasta, and an ice cream sandwich.
2. My favorite beverage is Bissap juice.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is Tomate Farci (meat in a hollowed tomato served with rice).
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Mediterranean Deli.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is cookies.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go back to my childhood.
2. My most prized personal possession is my cell phone.
