CAREER
Joined the Tar Heel basketball team during the summer of 2015 • Put on scholarship prior to the 2016-17 season • Played two years on the UNC football team as a quarterback before an elbow injury ended his career • Paid his own way to attend UNC in 2015-16 but is on scholarship for 2016-17 • Played in three football games as a backup QB for UNC (against Virginia and Old Dominion in 2013 and Liberty in 2014).
Saw action in 13 games, including appearances in the NCAA Tournament win over Indiana and the Final Four win over Syracuse • Scored a basket against Appalachian State for his first career points.
PREP
Played four years of both basketball and football at North Hall and Flowery Branch High Schools • Played basketball in the Georgia North/South All-Star Game • A top three candidate for the Georgia basketball Gatorade Player of the Year award • Played basketball for Coach Benji Wood at North Hall and Duke Mullis at Flowery Branch.

Born Kanler Miles Coker in Gainesville, Ga. • Birthday is April 30 • Son of Miles and Sharon Coker • His father played football at Georgia Southern • Double-majoring in communication studies and exercise and sport science (sports administration) • Can ride a unicyle • If he could go back in history, he’d go back to World War II to fight beside his great grandfather • Can play guitar • Would love to be able to jump like Gerald Green and snowboard in the Alps
