Majoring in exercise and sport science
2024 / SOPHOMORE
• Started all 21 games for the Tar Heels, scoring 25 points on nine goals and seven assists.
• Ranked seventh in the ACC in goals and sixth in points.
• Logged both a goal and an assist in games against Wake Forest (10/18) and Cal (11/05).
• Named to the 2024 ACC All-Tournament Team.
• Helped the team to the best goals per game (3.86) and scoring margin (4.05) in the country.
• Secured a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team for the second time.
2023 / FRESHMAN
• Started all 21 games in the midfield.
• Scored five goals and registered one assist.
• Named to the ACC All-Tournament team and earned second-team All-South Region honors.
• Earned All-ACC Academic honors.
• Enrolled at UNC in January of 2023 and practiced with the team throughout the spring.
BEFORE UNC
• Graduate of Vitus College Bussum and attended University of Amsterdam before coming to UNC.
• Competed as part of the U21 Dutch National Team at a 5-Nations Tournament in 2022.
• Played for the U16 and U18 teams at Laren MHC.
• Played in the “hoofdklasse” (highest level) for a year at Laren MHC and for the “promotieklasse” (second-highest level) for a year before coming to Chapel Hill.
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Maarten Hak and Mechteld Hak.
• Has one older sister.
• Favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends.
• Favorite sports other than field hockey are tennis to play and soccer to watch.
• Favorite food is sushi.

• Fun fact is that as a young player she wanted to be a goalkeeper.
• Athlete she admires most is Dutch soccer player Frenkie de Jong.
