Speedy wide receiver and return man who joined the Tar Heels during training camp in 2012 • Also competes in track and field for Carolina.
At Carolina
Returned 12 punts for 164 yards in 2012, an average of 13.7 per return • In his collegiate debut against Elon, returned six punts for 127 yards, including a long of 28 yards • Helped Carolina establish a new ACC record for single-game punt return yards with 260 • Had three receptions for 30 yards on the season • In track, ran a personal best 8.00 in the 60-meter hurdles during the 2013 indoor season • Also competed in the 60 and the 200, running PRs of 7.21 and 23.15, respectively • Competed at the ACC Championships • As a freshman, took second in the 400 hurdles at the ACC Outdoor Championships and helped men’s 4x100 team take sixth • Qualified for NCAA Regionals in the 400 hurdles • Competed for Team USA at the Pan American Junior Championships, taking silver in the 110 hurdles and crushing his PR with a time of 13.24 • Finished the season ranked No. 3 in IAAF World Junior Track and Field Rankings.
