As a Junior:
Competed in every meet on vault and eight meets, with two additional exhibition performances, on floor • On vault, matched her personal best with a score of 9.750 two weeks in a row against New Hampshire and then Oklahoma • The following week, topped her personal best with a score of 9.775 in a quad-meet against NC State, Michigan and Brown • Set a career best on vault scoring a 9.825 the following week against Brown • Placed in the top ten in six meets • Scored the highest on vault against Brown • On floor, scored a 9.825 in an exhibition performance during the second meet of the year, setting her personal best • Matched this personal best once more before topping it against Alabama with a score of 9.875 • Matched that score on floor in the regular season finale against Pittsburgh • Placed in the top ten in six meets and in the top five in four meets • Earned Second-Team Vault and Second-Team Floor honors at the EAGL Championships.
As a Sophomore:
Competed in the first three competitions of the season for the Tar Heels on both vault and floor exercise • Also competed on vault in the quad meet against NC State, Pitt and William & Mary • Set career-high scores in both events with a 9.750 on vault in the first meet and a 9.600 on floor in the home opener • Placed in the top eight on vault in all four competition appearances.
As a Freshman:
Did not compete in her first year.
Prep:
Received her gymnastics training at Sharp’s Gymnastics Academy under the direction of Marvin Sharp • Attended St. Theodore Guerin High School in Noblesville, Ind. • Also competed on the varsity cheerleading team during all four years of high school • Indiana state champion in the all-around and the floor exercise and second place finisher on the vault in 2015 • In 2014, she earned a second place finish in the all-around, first place on the vault and floor and third place on the balance beam at the Indiana State Championships • Two-time qualifier for the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympics National Championships • In 2013, she placed sixth on the vault and ninth on the floor exercise at the Junior Olympics Level 10 National Championships • A Region 5 Dream Team member in 2012 and 2013.
