Travel Packages Now Available For 2026 CBS Sports Classic

Travel packages are now available for fans looking to join their favorite team in New York City for the 2026 CBS Sports Classic, set for Dec. 19 at Madison Square Garden. This year's highly anticipated doubleheader features Kansas facing Ohio State at noon, followed by North Carolina taking on Kentucky at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Official fan travel packages can be secured by visiting www.cbssportsclassic.com/travel. Packages include hotel accommodations at a premium property near Madison Square Garden, VIP hospitality at the arena and tickets for both games of the CBS Sports Classic doubleheader, allowing fans exclusive early access to secure their seats for the event ahead of public ticket sales. General public tickets will go on sale Oct. 7, with a one-day presale set for Oct. 6.

Kansas is the newest addition to the elite doubleheader event that has been staged annually since 2014. The Jayhawks and Buckeyes will meet for the 12th time, with Kansas holding an 8-3 advantage in the series and winning the last six meetings.

North Carolina holds a 25-18 all-time lead in the series against Kentucky, but the Wildcats are 4-1 against the Tar Heels in five previous CBS Sports Classic matchups. This will be the first time the historic programs have faced each other at Madison Square Garden.

This will mark the third time in six seasons that Madison Square Garden will serve as the host venue for the CBS Sports Classic, having previously been the site of the 2022 and 2024 events.
The Garden is one of seven professional venues that have hosted the CBS Sports Classic in history, along with United Center in Chicago (2014, 2018), Barclays Center in Brooklyn (2015), T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (2016, 2019, 2021), Smoothie King Center in New Orleans (2017), Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland (2020) and State Farm Arena in Atlanta (2023, 2025).
