Gabby White To Join Nigerian National Team On International Exhibition Tour In China

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Building her resume on the international stage, North Carolina's Gabby White is set to join the Nigerian National Team on an exhibition tour across China, playing multiple games from August 4-15.
Before heading to Asia, White will attend training camp in Chicago from July 29-August 3. Nigeria is ramping up towards the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup held in Berlin, Germany from September 4-13.
Most recently, White joined Nigeria in multiple exhibition games against WNBA teams in May.
Transferring to North Carolina following her rookie season at Virginia, White was a member of a Cavalier squad that reached the Sweet 16 and appeared in 34 games off the bench. A Chapel Hill native, White shot 44.3% from the floor while averaging 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
