Excellence In The Classroom Celebrated At The Annual Academic Awards Luncheon

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – With graduation nearing, Carolina Athletics convened for its annual Academic Awards Luncheon from the George Hill Alumni Center to celebrate achievement in the classroom for the 2025-26 school year.
Every year, Carolina Athletics honors five male and five female graduating senior student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade point averages. This group of 10 boasts an overall GPA of 3.89.

Women's Track & Field • Majoring in Exercise Science and Sport Science – Fitness Professional with a minor in Coaching Education and Food Studies

Women's Tennis • Majoring in Studio Art and Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Global Cinema
Alix de Saint-Aignan
Rowing • Majoring in Political Science and Peace, War and Defense
Louis Dramm
Men's Swimming & Diving • Majoring in Neuroscience with minors in Biology and Chemistry

Men's Fencing • Majoring in Psychology and Economics with a minor in Russian Culture

Staff of the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes also took time to recognize all achievements of the year including, all Tar Heel Scholar-Athletes, 4.0 club, ACC Scholar-Athletes of the Year, Academic All-District, Academic All-America, the Bubba Cunningham's Athletic Director's Scholar-Athletes, All-ACC Academic Teams, ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarships, Phi Beta Kappa and the ACC Excellence Award.
