Track Wraps Up Indoor Nationals With Three Top-10 Finishes

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK - Carolina track and field closed out the 2026 Indoor National Championships with three top-10 finishes.

Makayla Paige (2:02.64) opened the evening with a seventh-place finish in the women's 800m as she earned First Team All-America honors.

Vera Sjöberg (8:48.70) followed suit with her own First Team All-America accolade as she finished in sixth in the women's 3000m.

Colton Sands (8:02.67) earned his second All-America honors of the weekend with a tenth-place finish in the men's 3000m.

The women's team finished in 36th with 5 points. The men's team finished in 39th with four points.
