ITA Women’s National Team Indoor Championship Draw Announced

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the draw for the 2026 Women's National Team Indoor Championship Tuesday afternoon. The Tar Heels are set to compete as the no. 1 seed at the Illinois host site. Carolina will face no. 8 Illinois in the first round Feb. 6 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Carolina heads into the tournament 7-0 this season with three top-15 wins. The Tar Heels topped no. 9 NC State and no. 1 Georgia last weekend and look to build off that momentum heading into the Indoor Championship.

UNC has won seven ITA Team Indoor Championships with their most recent in 2023. The Tar Heels won four consecutive titles from 2020-2023.

The 16-team tournament will take place Feb. 6-10 with the opening two rounds taking place at two sites, Illinois and Northwestern. The semifinals and finals will take place at Northwestern.
