Wilson Named To Wooden Award Late Midseason Top 20 List

University of North Carolina freshman forward Caleb Wilson is one of 20 players to make the 2026 Late Midseason Wooden Award Watch List, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced on Tuesday evening.
Wilson leads the Tar Heels in scoring (20.2 points per game), rebounding (9.6 rpg), blocked shots (30) and steals (36) entering Tuesday night's Tar Heel game at Miami. He has scored in double figures in all 23 games this season and has 17 20-point games, both of which are UNC freshman records.
Wilson is a candidate for the Wooden Award All-America Team and Player of the Year, to be announced late in the season.
