Heels Conclude Third Week Of Fall Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC-- The North Carolina Tar Heels concluded their third week of Fall scrimmages with a seven-inning scrimmage on Thursday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Offensive Highlights: Rom Kellis V was 3-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Kellis V had a 369-foot homer to right center. Tyler Howe, who also homered, was 1-3 with three RBI and two runs scored.
Cooper Nicholson, who was 1-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, homered for the third consecutive scrimmage. Gavin Gallaher was 2-4 with one RBI and two runs scored. AJ Terry had a double for the only other extra-base hit.
Pitching Highlights: Camron Seagraves and Riley Leatherman each retired the side in order in their one inning apiece on the mound, both striking out two in the process. Folger Boaz retired all three batters he faced. Olin Johnson struck out four batters in his 3.0 innings.
