Student-Athletes Further Professional Development Through Career Trek To Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Last week, North Carolina Athletics and Student-Athlete Development took 15 fall and winter student-athletes to Charlotte to network with local alumni and visit local companies.
"This Charlotte Career Trek exceeded all expectations," said Cricket Lane, Senior Associate Athletic Director – Student-Athlete Development. "The student-athletes not only learned about the inner workings of industries, but the journeys and preparedness they need as they plan for internships and the job market"
Student-athletes had the chance to visit companies including Allen Tate, Bank of America and Deloitte during their time in the Queen City and learn what opportunities are available in the world outside of collegiate athletics.
