Wake Forest won the opening hole in all five individual matches and went on to a 3-0 win over North Carolina Friday in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Golf Championship at Greensboro's Sedgefield Country Club.
Anne-Sterre Den Dunnen defeated Ing Iadpluem 1 up, Carolina Lopez-Chacarra beat Megan Streicher 4&3 and Chloe Kovelesky beat Katie Vu 5&4 to give the Demon Deacons the three points needed to advance to the semifinals, where they faced top-ranked and No. 1 seed Stanford Friday in the semifinals.
Carolina's Reagan Southerland and Sarah Lydic were all square on the 17th hole and Wake Forest's Macy Pate was 2 up through 14 holes against Helen Yeung when the Deacs clinched the team point. Their two matches were halted and officially recorded as unfinished.
NCAA Regionals bids will be announced on Wednesday, April 23.
