Softball Drops Midweek To Michigan, 2-0

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Kenna Raye Dark shined once again at Anderson Softball Stadium on Tuesday night but ultimately Carolina softball fell to Michigan 2-0.
In her ninth complete game of the season, Dark struck out five without walking anyone and only allowing the two earned runs.
The Tar Heels were able to get on base, picking up seven and two walks on the night but were just unable to get a run across.
Entering the day, Kenna Raye Dark was in a four-way tie for the national lead in complete games with eight. Her ninth of the season pushes her to the top in the country as she was the only of the four to pitch today.
Carolina now turns its attention to ACC play, welcoming Pitt to Chapel Hill for a three-game set starting on Friday at 5 p.m.
