• Carolina is 7-0 at home and 9-1 overall this season.
• Sophomore Jonathan Powell scored a season high and tied his career high with 17 points. He scored 17 twice a year ago while playing for West Virginia. He scored 17 against NC Central on 12/10/24 and Oklahoma State on 1/4/25.
• Powell also set season highs with six field goals, three 3FGs and two steals.
• Powell's 17 points were the most by a non-starter this season (previous high was 14 by Derek Dixon vs. Georgetown).
• Caleb Wilson led both teams with 20 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. It was his seventh double-double and fourth game with at least 20 points/10 rebounds.Â
• It was the eighth time in 10 games at least four Tar Heels scored in double figures. Wilson and Henri Veesaar (14) have both scored in double figures in all 10 games. Luka Bogavac (15 points) has scored in double figures nine times.Â
