Matson Signs Six To 2026 Class

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina field hockey head coach Erin Matson announced the signing of six new Tar Heels on Wednesday, adding some incredible talent on this year's National Signing Day.
Devon Anderson – Defender
Rye, N.Y. – Greenwich Country Day – AGH Field Hockey

- First-team All-FAA 2024.
- Named a team captain in both her junior and senior seasons.
- Earned All-NEPSAC distinction in 2024.
- Winner of the Salomon Field Hockey Award for Scholarship and Leadership.

- Called up for three different tours with the U18/U16 USWNT.
- Helped Avon Grove to qualify for the PIAA state tournament for the first time in their history as a sophomore and have gone back in her two years following.
