XC Readies For Friday's Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina cross country has one more regular-season race before the postseason starts at the end of October. The Tar Heels are running in Madison, Wisconsin. The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour is one of the nation's premier collegiate meets. This year's event is set for Friday, Oct. 17, 2025
Women's "A" Race - 12:50 a.m. EST
Men's "A" Race - 11:30 p.m. EST
The live results can be found on PrimeTime Timing. Both races can be streamed on RunnerSpace. The field features 37 total teams that are ranked in the top-30 of the country and 12 in the top ten.
Last year, the Tar Heels raced in Madison twice. The first time was for Nuttycombe and the second time was for the national championships. Parker Wolfe rewrote Nuttycombe history. The senior set a new course record of 23:04.0 as the men finished in fourth place. The women's squad took seventh. At the national championships, the men's team secured a strong sixth-place finish, marking its third consecutive top-10 finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. The women's squad delivered an impressive 11th-place finish.
