Fencing Sends Six To April NAC, Division I National Championships In Salt Lake City

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The North Carolina fencing team will have six competitors at the 2024 April NAC, Division I National Championships in Salt Lake City, which kicks off tomorrow. The competition, which will take place from April 25-28, will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center. This weekend's competitors for the Tar Heels:

Elden Wood (Div 1 Men's Saber)
Sophia Kovacs (Div 1 Women's Saber)
Logan Gatza (Div 1 Men's Epee and Foil, Junior Men's Epee and Foil)
Nicole Milewski (Div 1 Women's Epee)
Boris Muga (Div 1 Men's Epee)
Shekar Jayendra (Div 1 Men's Epee)

Carolina's team manager, JT Phillips, will also be competing in the Division 1 Men's Epee field as well.

This is the Tar Heels' final competition of the 2023-24 season.
