CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Carolina softball team (17-3) improved to 12-2 at Anderson Stadium with a 13-5 five-inning victory over Furman (10-9) on Tuesday night. It was the Tar Heels' ninth run-rule victory of the season.

Redshirt junior Britton Rogers (7-0) remained undefeated in the circle, throwing 3.1 innings, allowing five runs, three earned, and just two hits with three strikeouts.
