Softball Hosts No. 15 Duke For Three-Game Series

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – After splitting their two midweek games, the Carolina softball team (10-16, 1-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) returns home to host cross-town rival No. 15 Duke (21-5, 4-1 ACC) for the first time since 2018.
The Tar Heels host the Blue Devils at 1 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. for the series finale on Sunday.
All three games will be broadcasted on ACCNX. Jon Gross (play-by-play) and Caylan Arnold (analyst) will have the call for Friday and Saturday's games while David Kahn will call Sunday's matchup.
Admission to Anderson Stadium is free. Gates open one hour prior to game time.

In Chapel Hill: Carolina is 3-0
In Durham: Duke leads 5-2
Duke is 21-5 overall on the season, 4-2 in ACC play, and is ranked #15 by the NFCA. The Blue Devils won their first two conference series vs. Notre Dame and Louisville, 2-1. Offensively, Deja Davis leads the team with a .444 batting average, while Ana Gold leads the Blue Devils with 8 home runs and 27 RBI.
Jala Wright leads Duke in the circle with a 1.80 ERA in 60 innings pitched with a record of 4-2. She has 70 strikeouts on the season and has only allowed 18 earned runs.
The Blue Devils rank second in the ACC in batting (.327) and pitching (1.84 ERA) and twelfth in fielding (.951 fielding percentage).
