TULSA, OKLA.—University of North Carolina graduate students Brian Cernoch and Ryan Seggerman wrapped up a stellar week at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championship by finishing second in the doubles main draw on Sunday.
The pair, playing together competitively in their first tournament together, picked up three top-20 wins in reaching Sunday's final.
Toby Samuel and Connor Thomson of South Carolina won the main draw, beating Cernoch and Seggerman by a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) on Sunday.
Earlier in the week, Seggerman won six matches to advance from the qualifying draw through to the main draw quarterfinals.
