UNC Travels To Duke For ACC-Opener

CHAPEL HILL -Â No. 14 North Carolina will wrestle its first ACC match this Friday in Cameron Indoor Stadium when the team heads to Durham to wrestle Duke. The match is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. There will be no public attendance.

The Tar Heels (1-0) had last Friday's scheduled match against Virginia Tech postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. Carolina was last on the mat on Sunday, January 10, a 45-0 season-opening win.

Six Tar Heels are ranked in this week's Intermat rankings, all within the top 15: Austin O'Connor (No. 1 at 149), Devin Kane (No. 9 at 174), Kennedy Monday (No. 10 at 165), Zach Sherman (No. 10 at 141), Jaime Hernandez (No. 11 at 133) and Clay Lautt (No. 15 at 184).
