UNC Faces Duke in Rivalry Meet Saturday
January 30, 2020 | Swimming & Diving
CHAPEL HILL --- The Tar Heel swimming and diving teams will make the short 10-mile trip to Durham on Saturday to compete with longtime rivals, the Duke Blue Devils. The meet will begin at 12 p.m. at Duke's Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion. Admission will be free, and parking will be available in the Science Drive Garage lot off of Cameron Blvd.
UNC's women's team enters the meet ranked No. 15 by the TYR / CSCAA Division I poll, and while both Tar Heel teams lost to Virginia last weekend, they performed well in various events. Multiple athletes set personal records, including male diver Fabian Stepinski, who was named ACC Male Diver of the Week for his performance at Virginia.
Both Blue Devil teams are unranked. Duke's men's team has gone 6-3 in dual meets this season, and the women's team has a record of 6-2.
Live scoring will be available here. Results will also be available through UNC Swimming & Diving's official Twitter account (@UNCSwimDive).
