Twenty-four Tar Heel fencers will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional Saturday, vying for a spot in the upcoming NCAA Championships. NCAA Regionals action begins at 9 a.m. and will run throughout the day at Lafayette's Kirby Sports Center.

The NCAA Championships are set for March 21-24 at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. For information, click here.

Carolina junior Justine de Grasse is competing for a return trip, as she's the only Tar Heel who qualified last year. Matthew Garrelick, now a senior, qualified in 2016 when he was a freshman.
