February 22, 2019 | Softball
CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – Despite putting up four runs late in the game, North Carolina dropped a 7-5 decision to No. 20 Oklahoma State on Thursday afternoon at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. UNC turned around to face No. 16 Kentucky. However, rain rolled through in the bottom of the fifth inning to halt the game with 1-0 Wildcat lead. With the game unable to be resumed, Kentucky walks away with a win since the Wildcats were the home team and led by the fifth inning.
