Roy Williams Postgame vs. Nevada
Opening Statement:
"That was a heck of a night, needless to say, I was really impressed with my team for the last ten minutes of the game more than I have been at any time this year. Faced with adversity things were not going our way, all the sudden the other team has the lead, I think we got more competitive during that time, made some shots, made some defensive stops. If you play like that you've got a chance.
"I was more impressed with the last 10 minutes tonight than any other game we've played this year against a good Nevada team. A couple of those guys were very important against us last year, they played like it tonight, we had a tough time staying in front of Armon [Johnson], he is a little bigger than Larry [Drew II] and Dexter [Strickland]. He dribbled up and shot it right in front of them. In the second half we put Ginyard on him, that helped us a little bit.
"They are a good basketball team; again I am just pleased with my club. I loved the way Deon did, really battled on the backboards in there, Larry Drew stepped up and made some big time shots for us as well. Happy to get it and move on."
