Head Coach Sam Paul:
"I think you have to congratulate the University of Virginia. They beat everybody pretty soundly. That's a credit to them."
"I don't think we had our legs today. I think yesterday took a lot out of us. But I am really proud of my team. Coming in here, we had two tough matches and we've been fighting a little bit of stuff. Sebastian Guejman, my senior, has been fighting a back injury all year long. To come in here and compete the way he did the first day and the same thing in doubles. I'm so proud of him."
"I'm really proud of all the kids and how hard they fought. We just lost to a better team today. But our kids gave everything they had."
When asked about exceeding expectations this year:
"We lost four senior in our starting lineup, National Senior Player of the Year, two All-Americas, I can't say enough about my two freshmen and the other guys and the commitment they've made. They've worked hard. I'm really proud of how hard everybody worked. The entire team."
"It was a total team effort if you look back at our whole season. Different people have stepped up on different days. Today we just didn't have it. We lost to a very good team. My new assistant coach, Tripp Phillips, has done a really good job."
Asked about winning so many close matches this year:
"I think we got used to it. It was sort of weird. We started our year out on the road and we were in some holes down at Rice. The kids just started picking things up. They learned how to execute in certain situations. It wasn't anything to do with coaching, trust me."
"I think we have a solid team all the way through the lineup up and down. We're dangerous if we are clicking on all cylinders. We haven't played our best match yet. We're looking to taking a little bit of time off here and then get ready for the NCAA Tournament. So we're really excited about that."
"We think we are in a good spot to host and get to play in Chapel Hill those first two rounds so we are looking forward to doing that and get to play in front of our fans. We have great fan support. We had a lot of fans out here this weekend supporting us. I know our fans helped us yesterday so we are looking forward to staying home."
"We have a lot of room for improvement. We learned a lot this weekend. So it was a good weekend for us."
"We talk to our guys about grinding this out. That's one thing we can control. How hard we play and fight. We can always control how hard we fight not necessarily how hard the other team plays us. We have a lot of hear. I've very proud of them."
