Raleigh, NC - Clemson defeated Carolina 4-1 in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament Friday afternoon. Carolina won the doubles point, but Clemson seized the momentum by winning the first set in every singles match.
The match began outdoors at the Millbrook Exchange Park. After doubles and 15 minutes of singles play, rain forced the teams indoors to Duke University's Sheffield Tennis Center. Clemson will face the winner of tonight's Georgia Tech/Florida State match in Saturday's semifinals.
