BUIES CREEK, N.C. - North Carolina benefited from two Campbell errors to win 7-0 in game one, a pieced together a 3-0 win in the nightcap.
UNC broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth. After an error, Carrie ates singled, scoring Kelly Ramsey. Quinn Porter reached on the second Camel error of the inning, plating Beth Olen. Carolina added three runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Ramsey and a 2-run scoring double down the right field line by Olen. The Heels added two in the seventh when Ramsey slapped her second RBI single to right, scoring pinch runner Sarah Young. With two outs, Crystal Henderson reached on an error, scoring Ramsey. CU earned four hits off Radara McHugh, who won her 21st game.
In game two, UNC once again broke a scoreless tie in the fourth. Olen lined a sacrifice fly to left, scoring Natalie Anter. In the fifth, Anter doubled to center, scoring Jen Klesaris. After an error, Olen grounded out to second, scoring Anter. Campbell collected three hits off of Tar Heel pitching.
