A member of the UNC staff since 2016, Stephen Iannotta serves as Associate Athletic Director of the Smith Center Complex. His responsibilities include managing and maintaining the four buildings in the Complex: the Dean E. Smith Center, Koury Natatorium, Woody Durham Media & Communications Center and the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center.
Prior to joining the Smith Center Complex, Iannotta spent six years in the Event Management unit of UNC Athletics. Before UNC, Stephen worked as the 2015-16 Stadium and Game Operations Intern for the College Football Playoff in Irving, Texas.
Iannotta received his B.S. in kinesiology and health from Miami University in 2013 and his M.A. in sport administration from the University of North Carolina in 2015. During his time in graduate school at Carolina, Stephen was on the Athletic Operations/Event Management staff and served as a football operations assistant for the UNC football team.
