A graduate of UNC and former Tar Heel student-athlete, Brian Chacos joined the Rams Club in 2013 and currently serves as the Director of Scholarship Donor Development & Student – Athlete Relations. In this role, he cultivates scholarship donors, educate student-athletes and coaches on the mission of the Rams Club, and assists with organizing and executing Rams Club programs. He served previously the Director of Sales & Fan Development.
Chacos graduated from UNC in 2006 with a degree in sociology. As a member of the football team, he was part of two bowl trips: the Peach Bowl in 2001 and the Continental Tire Bowl in 2004. Before joining The Rams Club, Chacos worked for as a Technical Director for Insight Global Inc., an Account Executive for the Atlanta Falcons, a Business Development Executive for the Carolina Hurricanes, and an Executive for Sales/Marketing and Radio for WCHL.
Chacos is a second-generation Tar Heel: his father, Andy, played for the Tar Heels under Bill Dooley from 1972-74.
A native of Darien, Conn., Chacos lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Courtney, daughter, Zoe Violet, and son, Jasper
He is involved with many local community organizations as a board member for Habitat for Humanity – Orange County, NC, a Board of Directors member for The National Football Foundation – Bill Dooley Chapter, a member of the UNC Lineberger Community Engagement Committee, a YP board member for SECU Family House, a Board Of Directors member and Ambassador for the Carolina Club, and a member of the East Chapel Hill Rotary Club.
