Adam Lucas is the senior writer and columnist for GoHeels.com, known for this “Rapid Reactions” on Tar Heel games. He co-hosts the Carolina Insider podcast with the “Voice of the Tar Heels” Jones Angell and is the editor of Born & Bred, the quarterly Rams Club magazine.
Raised in a family of die-hard Tar Heels, Adam has spent his entire life following Carolina athletics and tries to bring that passion to his writing. He is a featured columnist on GoHeels.com, appears on the Tar Heel Sports Network basketball broadcasts, and writes for another fellow Tar Heel, Eric Church.
Adam dropped out of UNC Law School to start Tar Heel Monthly in the summer of 2001, and he has been successfully avoiding torts class ever since. He is the author or co-author of eight books on Carolina basketball, including the program’s official chronicle of its first 100 years, A Century of Excellence. He also wrote Summer Under the Stars, a book on Church's 2003 Outsiders Revival tour.
