A member of the UNC staff since 2001, Aaron York serves as Assistant Director of Business Operations. Among his responsibilities are administrating purchases for the Department of Athletics, ensuring state guidelines are followed for large department purchases, checking off all monthly expenses for the Department of Athletics, collecting taxable benefit information for courtesy cars that staff members are provided, assisting with departmental invoicing and collection of funds, and reconciling departmental VISA accounts.
York served as an Athletic Business Office Intern and an Athletic Event Operations staff member before being promoted to his current position in 2002.
A 2001 graduate of UNC, York earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Exercise & Sport Science - Coaching Education.
York was born in Charlotte, N.C. He is married to Sandy York. They have a son, Duncan, and a daughter, Marnie.
