Junior Year: Twice earned All-ACC honors by finishing third in the pole vault at both the indoor and outdoor ACC Championships  Runner-up in the pole vault at the Penn Relays  Named to All-ACC Academic Track and Field team  Made ACC Academic Honor Roll. 
Sophomore Year: ACC champion in the outdoor pole vault  Scored in the pole vault indoors, finishing eighth at the ACC Championships  NCAA regional qualifier in the pole vault  Moved to third all-time in the outdoor pole vault - 12-9 1/2.
Freshman Year: All-ACC in the indoor pole vault, finishing second at the ACC Championships  Scored in the pole vault at the ACC Outdoor Championships, finishing fifth  2004 NCAA East Regional qualifier in the pole vault  Registered the second-best indoor pole vault mark of all-time at Carolina - 12-11 1/2.
Prep: Prince George High School record holder in outdoor pole vault, 4x400-meter relay, 300-meter hurdles and high jump  Prince George High School record holder in indoor pole vault, long jump, 4x400-meter relay, high jump and 55-meter hurdles  Member of two-time regional and four-time district champions track team  2003 state champion in the pole vault  President of National Honor Society, Model United Nations and student government.
Personal: Majoring in exercise and sport science and communications  On the All-Academic ACC Honor Roll and is an Academic Team Captain for the Tar Heels  Hobbies include reading, skiing and going to the beach  Lists Lance Armstrong as the athlete she most admires  Lists winning the ACC pole vault title as her biggest sports thrill  Her favorite book is "The Great Gatsby"  Rhian Ashley Jenks is the daughter of William and Debbie Jenks  Born January, 11, 1985, in Ft.
