General: Two-time returning letter winner who is the younger sister of former Tar Heel swimmer Michael Chenier (2000-03)...one of the top butterfliers on the team...also contributes in the backstroke...competed Goldsboro YMCA swim team.

2003-04: In her first ACC Championships swimming as a scoring competitor for the Tar Heels she placed 11th in the 100-yard butterfly...took 13th in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:04.96...swam the butterfly leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay in 55.64.

2002-03: Competed for the Tar Heels as an exhibition swimmer in the 2003 ACC Championships...swam the 100 fly, 100 back and 200 back.

Prep: Graduated May 25, 2002 from Eastern Wayne High School...four-year swimmer there in 100 fly, 100 back and 200 IM...also ran one year of cross country...team MVP four years...conference swimmer of the year three times...3A state high school champion in the 100 fly and 100 back as a senior...has also trained in dance for 12 years...named to Who's Who in Academics and Athletics.
