Competed in six meets • Opened the season against Auburn, finishing sixth in the 500 free and seventh in the 1000 free • Claimed fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 1000 free versus South Carolina • Took third in the 1000 free and seventh in the 500 free vs. Virginia • Claimed fourth in the 500 free, fifth in the 1650 free and 11th in the 200 free at the Gamecock Invitational • Set personal bests in the 500 free (4:18.56, No. 6 all-time at UNC) and 1650 free (15:18.69) at the meet • Won the 500 free and took second in the 1000 free against Duke • Set a personal best in the 1000 free against the Blue Devils • Finished first in the 500 and 1650 free at the UNC Invitational.
