1999-2000: At the 1999 Nike Cup she was a member of UNC's Nike Cup champion 800 free relay, she also finished fourth in the 200 free (1:52.02)...At the 2000 ACC Championships, she finished 12th in the 1650 free, 15th in the 500 free (4:56.96), and 18th in the 200 free.

Prep: A June 6, 1999 alumna of Millbrook High School...member of swimming team there where she was a three-time team MVP and the squad's captain...named to Raleigh Old Reliable Team...was a News & Observer Athlete of the Week selection...was named the Millbrook High School Athlete of the Year...captured North Carolina High School Athletic Association state championship in 100-yard freestyle...calls winning that state championship her biggest sports thrill.
