Alex Hall joined the UNC Sports Medicine staff in July 2019 with primary sport coverage of softball, swimming and diving teams.
Hall spent the previous two years at High Point University, where she was the associate athletic trainer for the women’s basketball team after serving a year as the athletic trainer for men’s soccer and baseball.
Hall was a graduate assistant for North Carolina State University from 2015-17, where she provided medical coverage for the softball team.
Prior to NC State, she completed an internship at the Ohio State University, where she was able to work with the swimming, diving and synchronized swimming teams. While at OSU, Hall was able to gain experience by working the women’s Big 10 swimming championship, U.S. Collegiate synchronized swimming championship and the NCAA fencing championship.
Hall is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training. While at USC she worked with the football, baseball, volleyball and swimming and diving programs.
Hall is originally from Elgin, S.C., and is residing in Chapel Hill with her dog Memphis.
