As a Senior (2024-25)
Competed in six meets • Opened his season with a fourth-place finish in the 200 back against South Carolina • Placed third in the 200 back, fourth in the 400 IM and ninth in the 200 IM at the Gamecock Invitational • Set personal bests in the 200 back (1:43.91) and 400 IM (3:48.76) at the meet • Took fourth in the 200 back against Duke • Finished seventh in the 200 fly at N. C. State • Claimed fifth in the 200 back and competed in the 200 and 400 IM at the UNC Invitational • Set a personal best of 1:46.99 in the 200 IM at the meet • Swam the 200 back, 200 IM and 400 IM at the ACC Championships.
As a Junior (2023-24)
Competed in six meets • Competed in the ACC Championships • Posted two PRs and “US Open Championship Standard" times during the ACC Championships in the 200 Back and 200 IM.
Member of the Tar Heels’ ACC Championship meet roster, competing in the 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly and 400 IM • Participated in six dual meets and Tennessee Invitational • Posted his career-best 400 IM time the Tennessee Invitational and fastest career 200 backstroke time at the ACC Championship meet.

Member of the Tar Heels’ ACC Championship meet roster • Competed in six dual meets • Best finish of the season was fifth place three times: 200 fly at Duke and Virginia as well as the 200 IM in the NC State dual meet • Member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Son of Caroline and Paul Silver, head coach of the Marlins of Raleigh swim club • Eldest brother Tyler was a swimmer at the University of Florida •  Has another older brother, Chris.
