2019 (Junior): Appeared in 11 games, started one before redshirting • Scored three runs and stole a base.
2018 (Sophomore): Played in 47 games, making 18 starts at third base and one at second • Hit .293 with 12 hits, scoring 18 runs and driving in five • Stole eight bases out of 11 attempts • Recorded a seven-game hitting streak from March 2 to March 10 • Went 1-for-2 in the season opener vs. Butler (2/10) • Was perfect at the plate and the base paths with three hits and two stolen bases, respectively vs. Harvard (3/2) for single-game highs • Drove in two runs vs. Harvard in the Carolina Classic finale (3/4) • Logged two RBIs vs. Duke (3/10).
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 57 games, making 29 starts • Played 30 games in the outfield and five games at second base, with 23 appearances a pinch runner • Hit .194 (14-for-72) with a double, two walks, two RBIs, three sacrifice bunts, a sacrifice fly and 21 runs scored • Set a new UNC freshman record for stolen base percentage (.929), ranking fifth among rookies with 13 steals (in 14 attempts) • A strong arm, she made three outfield assists on the year, including two run-saving plays in UNC’s 7-5 victory at Notre Dame on Apr. 9 • Went 2-for-2 with a walk, a double, a stolen base and a run against Purdue (2/19) • Went 2-for-4 against Towson and drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off sac fly in the bottom of the ninth • Had a single, a sac bunt, a stolen base and scored the game-winning run in UNC’s 8-7 win over UVA.
Prep: A three-year starter for North Davidson High School, who finished in the top eight in the state playoffs every season, including a trip to the state championship game in 2015 • Played outfield as an underclassman before becoming the Black Knights’ starting shortstop as a junior in 2015 • Batted over .400 in three of her four seasons, including a .446 on base percentage as a senior • Two-time All-South (2015, 2016) • Three-time all-region (2014, 2015, 2016) • Three-time all-state (2014, 2015, 2016) • Three-time all-conference (2014, 2015, 2016) • 2015 NDHS Defensive Player of the Year • Four-time all-county • Four-time all-district • Played travel ball for the Carolina Attitude (2007-15) and the Carolina Cardinals (2015-16), who placed 12th at 2015 ASA Nationals.
