2024-25 Season

Bested the 2024 NCAA Runner-Up from Penn State... Notched two wins against the multiple time NCAA Championship participant from Columbia... Took down the 2024 Ivy League Champion and top five finisher in the country from Yale.

Fencing at UNC: to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

PRIOR TO UNC: In addition to fencing for his school, competed on the international level ... Member of the USA National Travel Team during his sophomore and junior years of high school... Placed 30th at U19 Junior World Cup in Bulgaria... Consistently placed in the top-32 and top-16 in North American Cups throughout high school... Went 47-11 in high school competition over the course of his career, helping his team to two second-place finishes and one third-place finish in the state championship... Started fencing in first grade after seeing the sport in an after-school program.

PERSONAL: Working toward a double major in business and biology with a minor in PPE (philosophy, politics and economics)... Before coming to UNC, interned at a nootrophic drink company and volunteered at a physical therapy practice and a dialysis center… Son of Agnieszka and Rafal Mika... Has one sister... Favorite pastimes are lifting, fishing and hiking... Favorite sport other than fencing is soccer ... Fun fact is he is Polish... Athlete he admires most is Kobe Bryant...
